I've got a vintage Black brides post coming up soon. The traffic tracker I have on this blog is really handy! Apparently, a lot of people are finding my blog while searching for vintage bridal photos and gown styles. I'll do what I can to cater to my readers.

And of course, wedding photos are aspirational. If I ever get married, I'm definitely going down the aisle in a 1950s silhouette.

  2. another great crop of photos. i love the woman with the phone. now i finally have an idea of what mod makeup looks on brown skin [cant pull off all those shades like twiggy can]. and the man with a fro? perfect.

    im planning a vintage wedding in my head, too! just need a groom.

  5. I Love Black Men. They are very muscular and i love nothing more to be held by the big black strong arms of a man with negro desent. I also enjoy giving my cat massages. :)

  6. I love these pictures, I wish our community was like this again, when we loved and respected each other and Black men actually loved and married Black women.

    None of the bullshit of today except for the fact that there was so much racism in those days that it was necessary to stick together.
