I went to Chicago Public Schools for 12 years, from first grade orientation in 1993 to the day of my high school graduation in 2005. So, CPS hold a special place in my heart.

The best things about these photos is that these adorable children are now parents and grandparents! It boggles the mind.

I have more vintage Chicago posts coming up...

ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteI am the person who posted the 1965, 66 & 67 Gresham Elementary School pictures on cpsalumni.org
I am seated in all 3 pictures, & wearing the same dress in two of them. I was Leslie Kowalczyk and I attended Gresham from Kindergarten through graduation from 8th grade in 1967. My brother Joe was in many of my classes and my Sister Sandra, Robert/Bob & Kathy also attended. It would be great to hear from anyone. We have looked for Kerry Zarobski in the past with no luck. He has a younger sister named Karen and an older sister & lived near us on Kerfoot St.
The house on the corner of Kerfoot where Kerry & Karen lived was in a fire the year we moved to Wisconsin and we lost contact. Unfortunately, Joe passed 14 years ago.
Enjoy your day ~ Leslie Jones
Chicago public schools in this epoch were a complete waste of time, they only rise the amount of criminals among us.
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone who attended Gresham school from 1960 to 1967 remember the Kowalczyk siblings; Joe, Leslie, Sandra, Bob, Kathy. Please post. I
