Vintage Greyhound ads from 1961-1966

I absolutely LOVE these Greyhound ads. They may be my favorite yet. They show black passengers and white passengers riding together peacefully. This may seem unremarkable to us now, but let's remember that this was the early to mid 1960s, in the midst of the Civil Rights movement.

For a company to take a stance such as this was brave and rare. Also, they used "Leave the driving to us" even then.







This one may just be the best. I need a pair of those shades:





The later ads from 1967-1969, which I'll post laster, are even better.
